I move bikes and kayaks around a lot.
the square section Thule steel bars are bomb proof.
Tbe cam straps don't grip as well to aero bars and noise is not a consideration with 4 mountain bikes on. Also I've seen the aero bars flex and sag on other people's cars.
Not as pretty as the aero bars but roof racks never will be a style addition.
