Not why I'm asking. Other tunes keep counter from incrementing and CVN intact. Just trying to understand how this compares. |
My understanding from the other tunes is your counter will only go up if you lock the DME. Not 100% sure with BM3, but I figure it's somewhat similar. Just my opinion though. Not verified whatsoever.
If you flash and break your drivetrain, don't expect it to be warrantied. I had an issue with a bearing failure on my turbo and BMW sent out an engineer specifically for my car. No more dealer level diagnostics at that point 😂
