Of course you can,
you have in the car from the factory laid code for a free update map navigation for 3 years
in the photo the car of my friend, which he bought from US.
It had a map of navigation NA 2016-1, we changed the fsc code for the NZ 2018 map and activated the fsc code apple carplay.
