The 17's are absolutely fine. They shouldn't be runflats unless specifically optioned (in which case try your hardest to get non runflat ones).
Look much better, better resale and handling is tighter yet ride is fine.

I agree with you on that. I think MINI looks great on 17". I was just worried about the ride quality and yes I am not too keen on runflats anyway. |
Just make sure you ask. Makes a big difference.
