shawns321 Yup you are right about the double whammy.

I do wonder how will they treat West coast bound vehicles in the coming weeks.. According to MOL. Durban has 2 ships at around 17th and the 21st.

17th Ship has a route to the US. Durban-E. London (SA)-Bayonne-Balitmore-brunswick-Galveston-Tuxpan

21st ship has a route to Durban>East London>Port Elizabeth>Vigo>Zeebrugge>Emden>Bremerhaven>Halifax >Charleston Brunswick>Panama Canal>Long Beach>Port Hueneme

In my mind the 17th would be quicker as it hits US soil Galveston on Dec 17th. but it still needs to get to Port Hueneme. Not sure if they have a rail From Galveston or NJ to Port Hueneme VPC.

The 21st ship would just be on the boat longer as it does a milk run to germany then to the US. with it hitting the west coast vpc on 1-12.

I guess i'll find out soon enough!
