I think your assertion that the UK economy has shrunk since the 2016 referendum is incorrect but if you can link evidence to the contrary I'm happy to stand corrected!
Maybe my terminology is misleading. Here's copy/paste of my post above

Latest CER estimate: the UK economy is 2.5 per cent smaller than it would be if Britain had voted remain. The knock-on hit to the public finances is £19 billion per annum – or £360 million a week.

Take it or leave it, these economists are a pro - Europe think tank. I would listen to them more than to Prof Patrick Minford and his crew, who as a Vote Leave economist, brazenly stated that Brexit would mostly eliminate manufacturing in the U.K. - and that we shouldn't be concerned about it
