jj1336: it's commonly accepted that anything you modify that results in damaging something will not be covered under warranty. there is no such thing as voiding the whole car warranty that I have ever heard of, you would have to really do something stupid to do that and the dealership would have to be pretty evil.

SJ00: if you are looking used, you have to realize that you will likely only find these from 335s and you are only dealing with two years of production cars. the lighting package isn't that common on 320s and 328s, plus now a lot of people are going to be looking for them now that there is a retrofit available. another thing to realize is that most totaled cars are damaged in the front so salvage parts will be harder in that aspect. set up alerts on ebay, expand your ebay searches to international, check car-parts.com for used ones (make sure you search 335s and know what you are getting with the headlight), and of course some parts are just going to be have to purchased at the dealership.
