I have a clunk in my car and I couldn't find anything causing it on my own, handed it over to my Indy for them to see if they could find anything loose while the suspension extended on the lift, nothing found.
I am going to stop by Harbor Freight and give that spanner a go, this seems like a great lead. Thanks for the investigation/info all.
Edit: my car doesn't seem to have this issue
