So over the last month or two my steering clunk has been getting worse and worse... took it to my preferred shop last night, and found out my steering rack wasn't torqued down to the subframe! The tech tightened them down and the noise is gone.
The two bolts for the rack are stretch bolts supposedly, so I'm going to replace them on the next warm day.
