I do agree the recent £1k and up pricing is ridiculous, but in reality the Xr at £750 is the same phone with a larger screen.

Compared to the Galaxy S9+ it has virtually the same size screen in a smaller form factor and is £120 less! Yes the Galaxy has an Amoled screen, but honestly the LCD on even my iPhone 7 is more than the resolution the human eye is capable of seeing. But of course the Xr has a much more powerful processor and more stable OS.
