We bring you a preview of the BMW F30 3 series' production front end styling via our set of renders. These were constructed by analyzing the
100% uncovered F30 spy pics recently posted, together with input from Scott26, who has seen the production F30 design.
It was confirmed that these images are representative of the real life F30 front end design.
The F30's front styling will represent very unique elements never before seen on a production BMW. The headlight-grille area features deep set headlights which dip inward to expose the sides of the kidney grilles. We've been getting hints of this new styling element with recent BMW concepts (see below). This innovative design not only differentiates the F30's front end look from the rest of the BMW sedan lineup, but also makes it distinctive among the entire sports sedan class.
Signs are pointing to a F30 reveal late October/early November at a London and/or Munich venue. The F30 will make its world public debut at the 2012 Geneva show next March and go on sale in Europe shortly thereafter. The F30 US public debut will be at the 2012 New York auto show (April) and will be available for the US market beginning Spring 2012.
It may even make a cameo at the Frankfurt IAA next month, albeit in disguised/covered form.

Headlight-Grille Concept Influences
The F30's deep set headlights / exposed side grille design is a good example of how recent BMW concept car designs are flowing down to production models. These two styling elements can be seen on the recently debuted Vision ConnectedDrive Concept and i8 Concept (pictured below).
Angel Eye Shape Concept Influences
The F30 will also feature squared off angel eye rings, which flows down from the BMW Concept Gran Coupe and BMW i8 / Efficientdyanmics Concepts, and has already seen adoption on the current production 6-series.
