Racing sims always felt like "video games" until I bought a quality wheel/pedal setup. It makes a HUGE difference. Those Logitech wheels are better than a controller, but they feel like complete toys compared to mid-high end wheels. I spend a LOT of time on track in real life and still spend a lot of time in sims because aside from G forces, and fear of crashing in real life, driving feel is almost identical (especially in VR). Of course the real thing is always going to be better, but most of my free time is after hours when my kids are sleeping and I can't get to the track at those times.
