Ok, I took the door card off and removed the mirror. It’s definitely 6 pins. I’ve bought a second hand one off eBay from a 2013 330d, which I’m hoping will be here tomorrow. Guy selling is confident it’s just plug and play and should work just fine. It’s a different colour, so i’ll need to swap the top section over, but that shouldn’t be a big deal. Just hope all the electrics still work with the replacement.
