I'd love to be proved wrong, but too many years studying mpg figures teaches me to be a little cautious of such a jump in the official combined figure. I expect a bigger percentage of mpg shortfall, than the previous generation.

Really? Hmm interesting...
I mean, it does largely depend on how you drive it. I suppose these figures are personal as most of my driving is motorway, so these are what I would expect given the improvements to the N57. And as you say, these are average figures.
