Finally talked to my service advisor. He’s pretty sure it’s the same issue, but said they couldn’t confirm the diagnosis until Tuesday though since they needed to run further testing. If correct this would be only the second time that they’ve seen a repeat failure... and that I would have a strong case with Bmw for a lemon claim considering how long these repairs take. We’ll see, what’s certain is that I’ll be driving a loaner for a while.
