In terms of errors I'm getting:

Just seems quicker and easier to delete cruise control functionality for now and when I manage to get a new shape steering wheel i'll install later down the line. |
Did you have an alignment lately?
I think the steering angle sensor needs resetting. It can be done through ISTA. It is in the steering écu (can't remember the name now), read the écu data and you will find it.
what does ISTA suggest to do to fix this?
