Of course this is different with xDrive. The xDrive did not affect the 328i 0-60 times much but lowered the 335i 0-60 times 0.2 seconds (better launching). Also notice that the manual in the 328i lowered the time but it is reversed for the 335i.  Additionally, the vehicles do have "Launch Control" for those who want to use it. Basically this is similar to a brake torque where one holds the brake while pressing the accelerator, wait for the "Launch Control" to light up on the dash, let up on the brake, then hold on!  |
I never actually used the launch control myself. That's neat - I'll have to try it out next time.
Surprised that my F30 model is 5.4 seconds. It's a pleasant surprise, nonetheless
