Err... No... but then I'm not one of those who says that one is definitively better than the other. My F31 330D was a great car. My F36 440i is a great car.
I moved to petrol because the timing was right - enough equity still in the car to get a good sale price, was driving a Euro V version diesel in London with uncertainty around the corner, am doing less miles p.a. etc
As far as I can see, there are just as many folks justifying why they are sticking with diesel in the current climate as there are those exalting the joys of having moved to petrol
