You bought the screen for HU_ENTRYNAV2, but your car has the older HU_ENTRYNAV(1). Only
these two screens are confirmed to work with your head unit.
Having done the coding part right, the only reason you see a "No signal" message (given the radio works and you can hear music playing through the speakers) is that you are using an incompatible screen.
EDIT: Thes screens in the linked post are for the 3-series, so you need to check
www.realoem.com for the screen for your car. The one you bought is too new, so look for an "older" part number.
