Guys, thought I would post my build/order history to give others of an idea how long to expect, now that everything has seemingly settled down with the delays etc. for F30/M Sports/330d. I think I may be approximately a week ahead of the normal turnaround, perhaps due to it being relatively quiet with it being December etc.:-
Car was assigned build week 49 (w/c 03/12)
12/11 order placed with dealer
17/11 1200 scheduled for production (changes can still be made to the spec while at this status)
27/11 5055 confirmed by production control (locked in production now, all parts been ordered/gathered etc. for production of the car, changes can NOT be made from this point on, I was lucky and did a spec change [added HUD] just a few hours before my car went to this status!)
04/12 various status' inc. paintshop start, body shop start etc., so effectively the card started production on the Tuesday of the build week
05/12 official production date (completed)
05/12 8200 released to carrier
06/12 9000 departed plant
10/12 9605 pre-eu port of exit
13/12 9610 port of exit (Germany)
14/12 9620 at sea
16/12 9630 port of entry (UK)
17/12 9650 awaiting despatch to dealer
18/12 9800 arrived at dealer
21/12 pick up
Looking forward to '9800 arrived at dealer' now, hopefully by Wednesday 19/12, with pick up on 21/12
