Is it possible that you could use something else? I find that the basic Windows Defender is like a terrier after a rat with this program. It deletes it instantly without warning and cannot be reliably configured to treat the 'offender' as an exception. The only way I can use it consistently is to run the program from within a .ZIP file, after having (temporarily) turned off WD's real-time protection. |
Nonsense. Defender flagged it the first time I ran it, and then I just restored it from within defender itself. It's worked fine ever since. You're not trying hard enough it seems
