No worries, I used the 'launchtechnique' as shown in the video more than several times with my former F10 535i 8AT, just keep the wheelspin not too high (depending on surface) and let go off the brakes. Poing.

Some people are looking for arguments to unjustify the 4.7 accelleration time it seems. FIY German carmag Auto Motor und Sport did 0-100kmh(62mph) in 5.1 seconds(335i A sportline)

If a E90/92 could do that, why not an F30? I know both the N54 and N55 by experience.
