Probably not, but if there's a cascade effect that causes other errors anything is possible. I had a sensor error that shut down ABS, cruise, traction control, sport, limited speed to 60 MPH, even prevented spoiler deployment, and gave me a 'drive carefully direct to the dealer' message. Luckily I'd picked up a Foxwell a few weeks before, which I used to clear the codes and test the sensors. The sensors were OK, so the fault must have been a false positive. That was three years ago, it never happened again.
