The features of EBT (apart from the phone adapter under the armrest) are BT streaming, additional telephone option (for calls), office functions and voice control.
Try these things:
In idrive go to 'telephone' => 'Bluetooth telephone' => highlight your phone => press option or click right => go down and select 'configure Bluetooth' =>
tick all the options => go back => go up to your phone and select it => tick audio
now go to 'media' => 'external devices' => your phone will now be an option to play audio from! Either change track back or forward with idrive or control
from your phones screen.
You should also have Album art from USB stick and iphone through lightning cable, and also full control of music library from iphone in idrive using lightning cable.
Also check if 'Office' works.
And press voice button on steering wheel to see if that works.
