The plate is mounted with a tow hook (cause I didn't want to drill into my bumper) that sticks out about a half inch further than the parking sensor so the only solution is to tilt it up slightly so the shadow doesn't make the sensor go off (while in reverse), or get the U.S. Mill plate holder that sits a little closer. |
There is a place that sells a magnetic kit, I imagine you put something on the back of the plate (to protect the paint) and then fit the magnets to the inside of the bumper. refit plate in the middle, neatness and symmetry balance.
