Heated Steering Wheel Function Retrofit discussion and sharing

Hi, I am wondering if a F30 with a M-Sport steering Wheel without paddle nor heating function can retrofit the heating function if buying a steering wheel with heat function?

There are a lot of paddle retrofit discussions in the forum so i am just focusing on the heating function here.

By looking through the realoem for part number differences between the Steering wheel which has and does NOT have heating functions, it seems there are 3 major components needed to be added from a car without heating function.
Of course, you are going to purchase the steering wheel with heating function first, so you will get the heating wiring inside. Other than this, i found out 3 parts need to be added.

1. Control unit, steering wheel electronics (PN: 61319218379) <USD200.00
There are three PNs for the control unit, 61319218379 (support heat and all other functions), 61319218381 (don't support heat but support all other fucntions) and 61319218380 (only support heat but not other functions).

2. Steering wheel heating push button (PN: 61319201736) ~USD50.00

3. Trim panel, steering column, bottom (PN: 61319219551) ~USD50.00

PS. Switch unit steering column (This part is a bit tricky, but anyone with PN 61319351144, 61319351146, 61319351143 or 61319351141 will be fine as these PNs are compatible with the heated steering wheel already. Only the 61319351139, 61319351140 and 61319351142 don't support the heating function, but i doubt only very few ppl have their steering column with these PN).

Many people talked about the clock springs also need to be changed, but i could not find any part named clock springs. Is this part also the same or included in the Switch Unit Steering Column?

Above are my findings and hopefully it might be helpful for somebody.
I haven't done the actual retrofit yet as the control unit is quiet expensive and I am looking forward to have more people sharing their findings or experience.
