First things first: Esotoril Blue II is stunning. That said here are a few of my observations about the car.
--Great job BMW for not even checking the quality control of a FREAKING INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW DISPLAY CAR to see if, oh, things like the badges are on straight. What hope does that give those of us buying cars off the 'regular' production line?
--Why does the M Sport, the pinnacle of the lineup, have wimpy-ass 225s in the rear? Is the F30 hiding some dirty secret that involves lack of room in the fenders? Once these cars are in the hands of the tuners, that contact patch will be less than adequate. The e90 ZSP cars had 255s out back. What gives?
--I give those big brakes a snowball's chance in hell of making it to the U.S. as standard equipment. U.S. buyers will freak out at the sight of a $5000 sport package.
--I sincerely hope the factory gives the car a bit more power in M Sport guise, even if it's 10 or 15 horses.
--Why no interior shots?
