I would have taken the 6WA cluster James has in a heartbeat if it was possible on my F30. It wasn’t possible on the 2018 3-series with the executive package (ZPX), which forces you into the full-digital 6WB cluster, and I was painted into the ZPX corner because the adaptive LED headlights (552) were non-negotiable for me. I don’t really like the full-digital cluster, but I’ll live…
The dealer told me that I wasn’t the only customer who asked about “downgrading” the cluster.
On the 4-series, 6WB is an à la carte option. Nobody’s arm is twisted into accepting it.
