For those with a turn signal stalk that doesn't stay up or down, push the stalk one more time towards the same direction of the signal will turn off the signal, e.g. push down pass resistant point -> left signal stays on, push down again -> signal off. This can prevent accidentally turning on the signal of the opposite direction.
