Takes skill to double de-clutch properly....the benefit is simple....300K on a gearbox if you are keeping the car for ever. (like my Saab 900T). Having said that the synchros on the 6MT are really good...but it'll make lazy drivers out of us!
Hey...another 5 years or so and no 6MTs will be available....slushboxes everywhere....yawn!
