it'll be someone to be LeClerc's wingman. so someone who has proven they can develop a car but doesn't need to be the next WDC. TBH the most likely candidates seems to be Kimi again, or Ric, or Kvyat, or Perez (but he's got a 3 year contract with racing point).
If I remember correctly, Perez has a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Racing Point if a top team becomes an option for him. I doubt that will happen though.
