Turn in is best when the treadwidth is narrower than rim width.

Wider front tires increases front grip and reduces understeer

Turn in sharpness is better with the 225 runflat because the treadwidth is the same as the rim width(8") and the runflat sidewall is much stiffer than the mps4s. 245 treadwidth is 0.5" greater than 225. If you had gotten 225 mps4s, it would have better turn in than 245, however the benefit of increased front grip and reduced understeer that the 245 affords outweigh the sharper turn in, imo.

(if the front wheel was 8.5 or 9" the 245 would have better turn in than on 8")

You can try 37-38 psi up front, it'll stiffen the tire a bit more and should improve turn in.
