Hey guy,

I have a 2013 F30 NBT with ‘small screen’. I see that there are 8.8” and 10.2” monitors and wanted to do an upgrade. Here’s my concerns:

1) 8.8” is the official SatNav screen hence no modification (cutting dash) needed?
2) What addition hardware do I need to buy other than the screen? iDrive control or I can still use the existing one?
3) What additional functions are for using a bigger screen other than looking nicer?
4) I have bimmer-tech smartview so I always use google map when needed. I don’t need the BMW SatNav.
