Tires wearing down the center, but pressure is on the low end
Hey guys,
I've had a consistent issue with my 335i where the center of the rear tires wears much quicker than the outsides. The fronts wear evenly. I'm running 32psi front/33 rear because I like the way the car handles with this balance.
I've read lots of people recommend that I run 35-38 on the rears which the door sticker seems to agree with. Why is it that my rears wear down the center even though my pressures are lower that recommended? Wouldn't bumping the pressure up to 35-38 just make this issue worse?
For the record, I'm running Michelin PSS, 245/40 front, 265/40 rear (was 275/35).
