Im not sure if I understand your question the right way, but in Germany its not unusual to bring you own bought oil to the dealer when the service calls. Sure, the cans must be factory sealed and must meet the required specs of BMW, whats more? If you would bring a non-approved oil to an authorized BMW dealer, he should and must refuse your oil.
In case of the question, what we call here "Produkthaftung" the dealer would fill the approved oil sort into your car and thats it. If any damage occours and it can be proved that this was caused from the OEM or similar from BMW released sorts, then the refund or costs for repair should be carried by the dealer. If you are outta warranty and come along only for the annual service, the terms of warranty concerning just the oil should stay the same. If you want a legal counselment, please consider to contact a specified lawyer.
