Has anyone ever gone up a sidewall size? I want a more comfortable ride, the roads in LA are god awful. These current low profile tires are really annoying, any pot hole feels like my car is detonating.

Again, Im not worried about lap times, I just want a more normal ride.

I have the stock Pirelli P7's on it and I hate them....looking at Michelins.

Thanks!
I recently replaced the MPSS on my 2016 F31 with THP with MPS4S. I stayed with 225/45 R18 Front and 255/40 R18 Rear. New tires feel softer than the originals (star marked BMW).

If you consider going square, there are a few who are running 235/45 R18 all around. That tire has slightly more sidewall than 225/40 R18 and according to some fills in wheel gap a bit and is softer (tire dependent).
