Yes mine are stock.
I was being sloppy with my post there. The "problem" per se is not perhaps initial bite. I came from the X1 which was based on the E90 and it just
feels like that the 328i's brakes are not as strong. I don't believe there is a weakness in the braking system and it could be due to improvements made to lessening drivetrain losses and lower rolling resistance tyres.
Not in a million years do I think my brakes aren't up to the job and perhaps it is just a case of getting used to the brakes (like I am only just now gotten used to the lighter steering effort and lack of feedback after more than 3000km). But I wouldn't mind something that
feels stronger.
