Can't add my car in BMW ConnectedDrive

Hi,

When I try to add my car in my ConnectedDrive account I always get a error saying that it's not possible to add the car to my account.

If I try to add the car through the BMW Remote App I get an error saying "Unable to connect to the BMW server".

Can this be related to the previous owner still has the car linked to his ConnectedDrive account? Is it possible to unlink it without his consent since I'm the new owner now? Can the dealer do this?
