The Xdelete seems to be a firmware hack that gets flashed. Interesting idea too. If they're flashing the transfer case module, I wonder how DSC would behave.
DSC depends on transfer case as part of traction control logic, when DSC is configured for awd. If xdelete flashes the transfer case module to stop actuating the clutches, DSC would still want to operate as on an awd car. They could possibly be messing with both.
I would love to know how to flash customized files and bypassing signature verification.
Changing the VO code for whole vehicle VCM to rwd was one of the options guaranteed to work, but it would want to reflash the dde. But I don't want to redefine and transfer the tune onto, just yet.
