I know this topic has been talked to death, but hear me out.
I am
very interested in purchasing the M Sport Kit from Kies Motorsports (i.e. bumpers and skirts) for my 340i. I've watched the installation video where Bryan fitted the bumpers to a 328i, but one thing stood out for me when he installed the M Sport Front bumper.
In the video, Bryan removed a black bar from the front of the car that connects what looks like two frame pieces. What I want to know is, does the same procedure for installing the M Sport Front Bumper apply to European F30s, or is there a separate procedure for Euro F30s?
Does that black bar have to come out for the M Sport Bumper to be fitted? I don't want to compromise the structural rigidity of the car.
I am really not sure what to do here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would appreciate if any Euro owners who did the conversion could weigh in here.
