To be honest, the only F30 I’ve driven was a 320d and I was quite impressed with it. It’s 0-30mph was easily on par with my E90 330d and felt very lively off the mark. It just after 40mph where is seems to lack in comparison to the 330d where the 330d takes off.
The 320d would be good for driving around town and would keep up with most things on 40/50/60mph roads, but on the motorway it would probably lack a bit.
Having said all of that I wouldn’t personally buy a 320d as there is just not enough GO compared to the 330d, but its not too bad a car at all.
