Old question, but you can, you just can't have active cruise control + track handling package (which is required for the 442m wheels).
Active cruise control adds a radar sensor to the lower grille. The track handling package has a different front fascia, and I'm guessing the radar sensor doesn't fit that fascia.
As for why the wheel choices are limited - market segmentation and simplified supply chain are really the only reasons... and I'd lean toward the former instead of the latter, if I had to guess. Same as the paint color choices. |
I don't believe that's true. I've seen an M Sport 340i with Track Package (grey ferric 18" wheels, correct?) with Adaptive Cruise. |
