In my old ford fiesta, the android HU is registered as a phone, that way the spotify can work in phone mode, with the visual short video clip played, and it can even integrate in the Google Maps and Waze interface (showing the title and next prev button in the maps interface)
But in this F30 HU I guess the HU is registered as a tablet, that way the spotify interface is very basic, just showing the playlist and small "currently playing song" in the bottom left. And in the Gmaps and waze there is also nothing shown

I've the same problem but in my case, only with spotify. It insn't problem wiht phone version or not, the problem is the landscape. All apps works fine less spotify, I can't change from horizontal to vertical
