Sent a note to XHP to check.
Thinking out loud, it might be an issue where you can get wheel slip on hard shifts, which would engage the traction control (hence why it only works with DSC off).
Kind of like watching a classic muscle car with a high stall converter where there tires would chirp at low speeds on each gear change.
