Just try to keep that an inch above the paint when removing, don't press directly against the paint. You will minimize damage that way. If you get the majority off the leftover will fall off when car heats up.

Personally I would just remove from windows and let the rest blow off when driving.
As a PA resident driving with snow on the car is an offense as you probably know.

Thanks for the advice, I'll be careful. My invest in a decent brush. The Sno Brum is useful for the garden furniture that's is covered up!
