Well I don't have a dog in this fight, I'm not getting any version of the Supra/z4. But it still feels to me that it's too expensive. I think it should be about 5K less across the lineup. If I didn't have the M2 and would probably consider this car, but outside of styling it seems like a less usable M240i? Time will tell, my opinion might change. |
I think a lot will depend on the next 2er. Oddly the G20 is lighter than the Z4 now, so if the next M240i is lighter and has a mechanical LSD, then yes, there's little appeal to the Supra. But compared to the current, heavier, 1 wheel drive M240i, there are some advantages for the Supra/Z4 provided you can live with two seats.
