First, congratulations on the new car! Regarding the hands free trunk, well, it's nice when it works. I found a trick that works a bit better than what's mentioned in the BMW manual and it is as follows:
Move your
foot across the underside of the trunk right to left and that will activate the lift gate. I am attaching a
