I did the sportline to msport swap on my f30 335. if you want to save a few hundred bucks on this conversion. there is an option to do the swap without changing the deformation elements. however be aware that the elements connect to a lower support bar that will need to be completely removed. this support bar is meant to take impact in a front collision.

if you do decide to change the deformation elements. be ready to spend $$$$ as you will need to take out your intake move your radiator etc to access one of the bolts holding them in place in order to change them.

I did not go this route as i didn't think it was worth the money. I know everyone has different opinions on this but it was my decision and my car.

if you have any more questions with this conversion. shoot me a message. just went through this a month ago and tried to go OEM as possible. i ordered all of my parts from getbmwparts.com and crossed border to pick them up.

also there is an adapter 51118068130 I highly recommend you get in order to secure the bottom of the bumper to the plastic engine splash shield. and buy a few extra plastic expanding rivets 51111908077 like 10 of them. they will come in handy.

good luck.
