Thanks for the replies everyone, appreciate it but looking at that other accident thread its nothing in the big scheme of things, just a sodding inconvenience.

Apparently it's possible to polish the scratches out and then reapply the UV coating, Norwich BMW were going to do it on mine until they found out it was my insurance company paying.
