no rub. max width on 19x8. slightly oversize but barely noticeable. wider and slightly shorter(dia.) fronts will improve handling by reducing understeer while maintaining turn in sharpness. although 245/35 is slightly shorter than 225/40, the outer shoulder is more flush with the fenderwell so the wheel gap is basically the same as 225/40.
